Angelica Albertini

I am a PhD student at the Astronomical Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague. Since my Master’s thesis, developed at the University of Turin, I have been dealing with waveform modeling within the EOB approach to binary black hole coalescences. My current work aims at extending the validity of EOB models to the intermediate- and extreme-mass-ratio regime, in view of the needs of the next generation of ground- and space-based gravitational wave detectors.
