EOB@Work24 Jena

The third edition of EOB@Work has now come to an end. With 18 participants attending from 5 different countries, ~60 buttered pretzels devoured over 3 lunch breaks and one workshop BBQ, we are happy to say that the event’s social side was a success.

The science was also great. On top of many lively discussions, Prof. Gerhard Schäfer gave us an illuminating lecture on EOB as an offspring of the ADM formalism; while Dr. Piero Rettegno gave a seminar on binary black hole scatterings in post-Minkowskian theory.

We hope to see everyone again for the next edition of the workshop!
