Announcement: EOB@Work25

We are happy to announce that the fourth edition of the EOB@Work workshop series is now open for registration!

EOB@Work25 will take place on 2/09/25-5/09/25 in Torino. This workshop is designed to bring together experts in the effective one body approach to identify and work on both the long and short-term challenges. The workshop is informal and technical. It alternates discussions with hands-on sessions.

The topic of this year’s workshop is:

The interplay between eccentricity and spin precession

On Wednesday 3rd we will have special lectures of Prof. Thibault Damour, dedicated to 25 years of the EOB approach, and of Prof. Gregorio Carullo, on 10 years of gravitational wave detection. These lectures will be addressed to a non gravitational-wave expert audience.
