First TEONGRAV Workshop
This week many of the TEOBResumS
people attended the first TEONGRAV workshop in Rome. They gave brilliant talks during the parallel sessions about many different topics:
- Mattia Panzeri gave an overview of our EOB model for EMRIs;
- Danilo Chiaramello discussed the combined modeling of spins precession and eccentricity;
- Simone Albanesi presented his work on the interplays between numerical and analytical techniques to understand scatterings and captures;
- Andrea Placidi and Piero Rettegno let us take a peek at the newest frontier of EOB: the LEOB model, and how it seamlessly incorporates PN, PM and GSF information in a single framework (look forward to the paper!);
- Marina De Amicis discussed the late-time signal from binary black hole coalescences.

Gregorio Carullo and Rossella Gamba also gave two plenary talks, dedicated to modeling gravitational waves from ringdown and binary neutron stars, respectively.
Overall, everyone had a great time – all thanks to both the scientific and local organizers, who made a great event possible. Looking forward to the next edition!
